Hoverboards Being Called Off Due to Fire Hazards

You must be often seeing dozens of boxes of these hoverboards in the markets and stores and people using them in the streets and sidewalks, and many of you must be having one of these at home. Though a hoverboard seems like a fun gadget, but it is not recommended to use these. Also what is written below is the reason (read: reasons!) why even airlines have banned them.

But Why So? 

The U.S. Safety Commission has just recalled over half a million hoverboards from stores due to risk of smoke emission, fire hazards, and even the hoverboards blasting! Several stores are calling off several hoverboard brands due to to the poor build quiality and no reliability of the product that harms the safety of the people (or can).

We might have been a little aggressive in this article about hoverboards and we talked about throwing all of them into the trashcan, though there are a number of famous brands that make high quality hoverboards and cause usually no damage, but majority of these hoverboards (mostly the cheaper ones), can cause damage.

What Kind of Damage?

These cheap, knock-off hoveboards can catch fire, emit smokes, and their batteries can even explode. These hoverboards are usually purchased from Chinese manufacturers, while the companies and manufacturers around the world dont bother with the quality check. These hoverboards are made of cheap plastic, low quality drive software, and cheap lithium batteries, and that's why these hoverboards can be seen selling off in sales and finding one for less than 200$ is not a great deal in stores across the world. While the quality check tags that come from China can often be fake. Hence both manufacturers and the sellers are responsible for that. 

Verdict 

If you have any of those knock-off hoverboards that can catch fire or cause harm to you and your family, it's a better idea to dispose them off. And those who are planning to buy a hoverboard or were planning to buy one before coming across this article (our apologies!), it's better to do some research before buying. Otherwise it's always better to buy a smart band and run a few miles!
