There was a time when OnePlus started off with just one device, which was reviewed by a great number of bloggers and websites and critically regarded as a decent device from the company. But things have changed for OnePlus after a couple of years as the web eyes on the OnePlus 3, the new flagship device by OnePlus.
Call it eagerness and excitement, or efficiency taken to a whole new level, but Amazon India unveiled the device a few hours before its official announcement by the company, we really dont blame Amazon for this since the device is pretty impressive on the specifications table.
The device comes with android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Oxygen OS 3.0 skin on top which is OnePlus' home brewed user interface. The device offers a 5.5 inch optic AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution. Corning's Gorilla Glass 4 offers a stronger and sturdy screen that wont be something easy to break. The device comes with Qualcomm's Snapdraogn 820 Kyro processor that has 2 cores of 2.2GHz and the rest two are clocked at 1.6Ghz.
In memory department, OnePlus 3 comes with a stunning 6 gigabytes of RAM which should be good enough to handle everything you throw at it. The device comes with 64 gigabytes of internal space which is non-expandable, which can be a deal breaker for many.
OnePlus has deployed Sony cameras on both sides of the device. The rear powered by a 16 megapixel camera with phase detection focus, OIS, and an LED flashlight. Rear camera records video in 4K. The front camera is an 8 megapixel sensor that comes with image stabilization and can record videos in 1080p.
OnePlus 3 is powered by a 3000mAh battery which is non-removable. It comes with OnePlus' "Dash Charging" technology that charges the device up to 60% in 30 minutes.
Other features include a fingerprint scanner, LTE Cat6, dual sim connectivity, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.2. The announced price in India is 416$
