BlackBerry was once famous for its keypad phones and was once extremely popular among the mobile phone enthusiasts, but the scenario changed as Android phones became mainstream and BlackBerry was knocked out of the market, and the company has been facing a downfall ever since. But are the good things around the corner for the company as their first Android smartphones are about to be unveiled?
According to rumors, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Alcatel is making the new mid-range and mid-high range smartphones for BlackBerry which are based on Alcatel's own Idol 4 model.
We do not know a lot about the device itself. But it is said that it has a 5.2 inch 1080P screen with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 packed inside that reaffirms its midrange position. While one model includes BlackBerry's iconic physical keyboard which used to be its identity in the past, we need to see that if the charm of the historically cool physical keyboard still works out or not. The smartphones are rumored to be unveiled next month.
