Pokémon Go uses GPS to track your location and time where you are and what type of creatures you will see around you. You can walk to that Pokémon and catch it. The types of Pokémon you see greatly depend upon the time and area. AR provides you entirely new experience while you try to fulfill you 90's dream of becoming a Pokémon master as you Catch 'em all!. Here's a video about the gameplay:

Initial Success

Pokémon Go was initially launched in several countries, the game was met with such enormous response that the servers started to clog down and the app had to be taken off from all the countries except for Australia and New Zealand. And APKs that were downloaded after that had their service discontinued for a few days. Now the application is being launched across the world.
In the United States, 5% of the devices are already using Pokémon Go which is more than Tinder. It has more active users than Twitter, and people spend an average 43 minutes on the application, which is more than Instagram.
Pokémon Go has increased Nintendo's share price by about 25% and has added $9 billion of value to the company. It has increased Nintendo's total market cap to $28 billion, which shows that Nintendo is having its best days since 1983.
